APPLICATION AND PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT
The support must be flat, stable, resistant, dry and free of cracks or materials that reduce adhesion. Remove dust and clean the surface to be treated. If the bottom is very absorbent or disintegrable, apply a previous coat of FIXACRYL hardener.
In a clean vessel, preferably of rubber or plastic, add 0.320 liter of water per 1 kg of product and mix until a consistent and homogeneous paste is obtained. Let the dough rest 5 minutes, re-stir the dough before application.
Apply with normal or toothed trowel, on the support and / or on the whole surface of the tile. Place and adjust the ceramic, leaving a joint of 3 to 5 mm and press lightly before the adhesive begins to form film. Check the correct wetting of the tiles by periodically lifting some of them. It is advisable to install with a 3 mm seal in the interior and 5 mm in the exterior.
APPLICATION AND PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT
Clean the ceramics with a damp sponge before hardening the adhesive. Clean tool with water immediately after use. For gluing of white paste tiles or for gluing tile on tile as well as for working on plaster supports, use the PASTE CEMENT.
- Application Tips
- Do not apply the mortar to batter, use trowel on perfectly leveled surfaces.
- Double-sizing systematically with ceramic coatings and natural stone with a degree of water absorption of less than 5% (porcelain stoneware, granite, etc.).
- Do not try to reuse the mortar by adding water or fresh material.
- Do not grout ceramic before setting mortar.
- Dampen the stand in hot weather or in heavily ventilated rooms.
- The layers intended for heating must be heated and cooled.
- For grouting use mortar joints and not simply a cement.
PRECAUTIONS
Do not use at low temperatures. Do not use on substrates with humidity above 3% or on gypsum, metallic or outdoor supports in full sun.
