Product description
Universal silicone is a one-component, elastic and high-quality sealant based on silicones.

Dimensions of joints
- Minimum width of joints: 5 mm
- Maximum joint width: 30 mm
- Minimum depth of joints: 5 mm
- Recommendation for sealing tasks: joint width = 2 × joint depth.
Application Method
- Method of application: With manual or pneumatic caulking gun.
- Cleaning: Clean with turpentine or surface cleaner immediately after use.
- Finishing: With a soapy solution or Soudal's finishing solution before flaying.
- Repair: With the same material
Observations
- Do not use it on natural stones, such as marble, granite ... (staining). For these applications, use the silicone for natural stone of Soudal.
- Due to its acid nature, it can affect certain metals (such as copper or lead).
- Direct contact with the secondary sealing of the insulating glass units (insulation) and the PVB sheet of the safety glass should be avoided.
- The total absence of ultraviolet rays can cause the color change of the sealant.
- In acidic environments or dark rooms, the white silicone may become slightly yellow. Recovers its initial color under the influence of sunlight.
- When applying the finish with a finishing solution or soap solution, make sure that the solution does not come in contact with the surfaces. If that happens, the sealant will not adhere to that surface. Therefore, we recommend that only the finishing tool be immersed in this solution.
- We strongly recommend that you do not apply the product under intense sunlight, as it dries very fast.
- Do not use it on polycarbonate. Instead, use Silirub PC or Silirub AL.
- Do not use it in applications where its constant immersion in water can occur.
