Description

The "Borneo" system allows to recreate an animal skin appearance thanks to the roller that slides on a ready-to-use base. This system allows to create an ethnic decoration that brings an elegant touch of exoticism.

To achieve the effect you need the base, the special roller and the finishing wax you choose the most according to the desired effect.

Surface treatment:

Work m2 per m2. Extend a first layer of product with the flat side of the trowel of a trowel. Smooth with the edge of the trowel to deposit a very thin layer (bordering the transparency). Once dry to the touch, coat the first layer using the trowel on the serrated side, to deposit a sufficient thickness and regulate the product. Then smooth with the trowel until there is a uniform layer.

Allow the applied m2 to dry between 5 and 10 minutes, then pass the roller with the design chosen from top to bottom on the applied surface without overhaul (only once).

Clean roller regularly during application. Once all the applied surface is dry to the touch, attenuate the relief realized with the roller with the smooth and clean side of the trowel

Allow to dry 24 hours. Once the product has completely dried, apply the finishing wax. The wax provides protection, color or gloss and embosses the animal skin print. It dries completely after 4 hours. And it makes the product washable.

Like any decorative effect, it can vary depending on the hand of the applicator. Your imagination can make a single application.

Surfaces must be free of dust, clean, dry or free of salt spray.

Old surfaces, in addition to the above considerations, should be removed from the paint. When applied to already painted surfaces, defective and cracked areas should be sanded, filled and level with the appropriate putty product. If the surface is powdery or with great differences of absorption, apply an acrylic fixative, to even the surface, especially in intense colors.
