COTEFILM NG is an ultra elastic smooth acrylic coating specially formulated to prevent water seepage from outside. Anti-Fracture (able to seal hairline cracks up to 2 mm). Self-cleaning. Permeable to water vapour, allowing the support to breathe. Impermeable to rainwater.
Superelastic and waterproof coating formulated with pure acrylic resins, photoreticants in aqueous phase and pigments of complete fastness to the light and the weather. Matte stucco finish.
Applications
Protection and decoration of surfaces in façades and usual supports in exterior construction such as: concrete, mortar, brick, stone, etc.
Waterproofing of external supports that require a high level of elasticity due to cracks or to be expected to have them, even up to 2 mm between the lips of the same.

How to use
PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT: The surface to be painted should be clean, healthy, dry, without efflorescence or mold. The small existing cracks will be filled with undiluted COTEFILM NG FLAT, preferably by a brush and ensuring that the crack is well filled and covered. Fissures greater than 2 mm. Shall be sanitized and filled with exterior or mortar filling paste.
APPLICATION OF THE PRODUCT: A primer should always be given first (recommended: COTEFILM AQUA PRIMER or COTEFILM PRIMER TO SOLVENT), applied by brush, roller or gun. (The use of COTEFILM AQUATIC PRIMER in rehabilitation and on plastic paints is recommended. For non-absorbent substrates, COTEFILM SOLVENT PRIMER may be used.
Then apply the COTEFILM NG LISO or COTEFILM NG RUGOSO layer or layers according to the systems described above. It is very important that the aqueous primer is wet, have a mordant, when applying the first coat of COTEFILM NG LISO. Otherwise, the media will be reprinted. It is very important that the applicator verifies that the quantities of product that are deposited coincide with the technical specifications (see yields), since the capacity of absorption of fissures is related to the thickness of the deposited film. A higher film thickness cracking absorption capacity. COTEFILM NG FLAT is always applied without dilution.
