DEFINITION

"HORMIPRES AQ" water sealer is a finishing varnish, especially indicated for the protection, sealing and decoration of printed concrete pavements in general. Applied undiluted, it is used as a finishing varnish for printed concrete floors, and diluted 1: 1 with water as a curing membrane for printed and polished concrete in general.

CHARACTERISTICS

HOW TO USE

• Application conditions: Always remove the contents of the container until it is completely homogenized
• Dilution: Without dilution as a finish or 50% (1: 1) or more of water for curing membrane
• Application tools: Low pressure gun, sprayer, roller
• Drying time: To the touch 1 hour, total 24 hours, depending on the ambient temperature and the overcoating interval: Minimum: 6 hours at 20º C
• Cleaning of tools: With water
• Preparation of the surface: The support must be completely dry and free of moisture. Remove setting grout, efflorescence, soluble salts, dust, grease, mold release agents and other contaminants by pressurized water. Let dry. On surfaces contaminated with molds, fungi and algae, carefully wash the affected area preferably with specific cleaners (diluted biocides) using mechanical means (brushes, sponges, etc). After waiting for 6 to 8 hours, wash the area thoroughly with water and once dry apply the paint
• Application: As a curing membrane, after the surface hardening of the concrete and to avoid the rapid evaporation of the water during the setting of the concrete, apply a layer of HORMIPRES AQ WATER SEALANT diluted 1: 1 with water. As finished, after 72 hours of execution of the floor, wash the surface and when it is free of moisture apply HORMIPRES AQ WATER SEALANT by means of a spray at a distance of 30-40 cm, leaving a uniform layer and avoiding excessive thicknesses
