Polyester resin is a widely used product due to its properties, both malleable and high resistance in various factors. These resins are usually used both in industrial uses, such as at home.

Some of its uses are in: nautical, construction of bumpers, water tanks, swimming pools, sculpture, molding, among others.

One of the main advantages of the resins is its high resistance, both to climatic factors and to substances that can become corrosive in contact with a metal, and its prolonged useful life.

How to use:

• Polyester resin is a very suitable product for various types of applications, both for the manufacture, manufacture and repair of reinforced parts (with or without fiberglass)
• The polyester resin is an orthophthalic accelerated and thixotropic resin, ideal for a good number of applications
• Mix perfectly the two components (resin and catalyst) in a ratio of 1.5% (summer) to 2.5% (winter) of catalyst in resin; taking the precaution of mixing only the amount that will be used.
• In the case of a laminate, the fiberglass will have been previously cut with the shape of the surface to be repaired (clean, dry and free of grease surface)
• The already catalyzed resin is applied, by brush or roller, on the surface to be repaired, impregnated on both sides of the fiberglass mat. The approximate resin consumption will be 1kg per m2 of fiberglass and will have a drying time of 30 min to 2 hours, depending on the temperature and humidity conditions
• If a higher thickness is needed, several layers can be applied, one over the other when the previous one is mordant (sticky but not stained)
